US Country Manager (m/f/d)

At getquin, we are on a mission to empower people to become better investors!

We started three years ago with a portfolio tracker and quickly added a social network to it, to foster exchange of ideas with friends, fellow investors and financial experts. Our app helps everyone to not only manage their investment, but also make informed financial decisions.

With over 200k+ members, we are as of today the largest investment community in Europe. And with our recent Series A of $15m, led by global fintech investor Portage Ventures (known for Clark and Wealthsimple) and joined by Horizons Ventures (known for N26 and wefox) we are only getting started.

What you'll be doing
As our US Country Manager, you’ll:

  • Be in charge of launching and scaling our US-based presence, including building your own team.

  • Act as the key representative for getquin in the US and build, manage and grow new strategic partnerships.

  • Build strong collaboration with all functional teams to ensure alignment & deliver the best possible experience for our US customers.

  • Manage your own P&L and take care of running your operations as efficiently as possible.

  • Independently monitor you and your team's performance along the company targets.

  • Directly report to the company’s founders and act as a sparring partner, providing ideas and initiatives that drive growth and improve the user experience.

What we are looking for

  • +4 years experience working in fast-paced environments (consulting, IB, early-stage, scale-up). 

  • Proven strong experience in launching a consumer business in a new market from scratch.

  • Experienced & inspiring leader, who is capable of operating across functional lines, influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset & hands-on strategist who will develop, build and leverage a holistic understanding of the local users & the business

  • Great communication and written skills in English

  • You come with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to innovate, and are hands-on in driving initiatives to success.

  • Eligibility to work in the US is not 100% required, but would be preferred

  • An interest in investing is not required, but will help you thrive in this job.
