Hier bei getquin haben wir es uns zur Aufgabe gemacht, Menschen zu befähigen, bessere Investoren zu werden!

Wir begannen vor drei Jahren mit einem Portfolio-Tracker und fügten schnell ein soziales Netzwerk hinzu, um den Gedankenaustausch mit Freunden, anderen Anlegern und Finanzexperten zu fördern. Unsere App hilft jedem, nicht nur seine Investitionen zu verwalten, sondern auch fundierte Finanzentscheidungen zu treffen - und das kostenlos, denn wir sind der festen Überzeugung, dass Wissen für alle zugänglich sein sollte.

Mit über 200k+ Mitgliedern sind wir heute die größte Investment-Community in Europa. Und mit unserer jüngsten Serie A in Höhe von 15 Millionen Dollar, angeführt von dem globalen Fintech-Investor Portage Ventures (Clark und Wealthsimple), und unterstützt von Horizons Ventures, der Risikokapitalgesellschaft (N26 und wefox), stehen wir erst am Anfang.

Was du tun wirst

  • Als Praktikant im Business Development arbeitest du an der Weiterentwicklung und dem Wachstum unseres Unternehmens.

  • Mit deinen analytischen Fähigkeiten und deiner Hands-On-Mentalität unterstützt du das Business Development Team bei strategischen und operativen Tätigkeiten.

  • Recherchen, Analysen und Präsentationen sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres Tagesgeschäfts und unterstützen die Entwicklung neuer Ideen und Projekte.

  • Du hinterfragtst mithilfe von Daten den Status Quo und setzt Impulse für die ständige Weiterentwicklung unserer Geschäftsbereiche. 

  • Für dich gibt es keinen "typischen Tag”, da deine Aufgaben sehr vielseitig sind und du Eindrücke in alle Unternehmensbereiche bekommst.

Was wir suchen

  • Du hast Student/in oder Absolvent/in hast du an einer Top-Universität einen technischen, ingenieur-, wirtschafts- oder naturwissenschaftlichen Hintergrund.

  • Erste Berufserfahrung in einem wettbewerbsorientierten Umfeld (z.B. erfolgreiches Start-Up, Beratung, Investmentbanking) konntest du bereits sammeln.

  • Dich zeichnet deine Selbstständigkeit und Hands-on-Mentalität aus.

  • An dich selbst stellst du die höchsten Ansprüche und dein Auftreten ist hochprofessionell.

  • Deine analytischen und kommunikativen Fähigkeiten sind exzellent.

  • Du kannst sicher auf Englisch kommunizieren. 

  • Für dieses Praktikum bist du mindestens drei Monate verfügbar und kannst so bald wie möglich starten. Der Ort des Praktikums ist unser Office in Berlin Mitte.

With our portfolio tracker and the largest investment community in Europe, we help everyone not only to manage their investments, but also make informed financial decisions. We are the largest social network for anyone interested in finance, enabling people to exchange ideas with friends, family and financial experts on topics related to investing. Where we're going

We are a multicultural team of domain experts with years of experience in hyper-growth startups, consulting, agencies, and investment banking. We share an entrepreneurial mindset and are not afraidto think big - just like our investors, who are some of the most recognized in the world. We recently announced a $15 million Series A round led by global fintech investor Portage Ventures, known for investments such as Clark and Wealthsimple. The round was joined by Horizons Ventures, a Hong Kong based venture capital firm, which has also previously invested in other fintech companies within Berlin such as N26 and wefox. 

We currently operate in Germany and will be expanding abroad in the coming months. In order to grow quickly and sustainably, we are assembling a team of motivated and highly talented people. It is challenging and exciting. It never gets boring!

What you'll be doing
As a Business Development Intern, you will work on the strategic development of our company and take on important tasks.
  • With your analytical skills and hands-on mentality, you support the founding team in strategic and operational activities in the daily business.
  • Through research, analysis and presentations, you support the management and develop our company further.
  • You help us to acquire strategic partners and interact with customers on different channels.
  • There is no such thing as a "typical day" for you, as your tasks are very diverse and you will gain an insight into all areas.

What we are looking for
  • As a student or graduate of a top university, you have a technical, engineering, business or natural science background.
  • You have already gained some professional experience in a competitive environment (e.g. successful start-up, consulting, investment banking).
  • You are characterised by your independence and hands-on mentality.
  • You set yourself the highest standards and your appearance is highly professional.
  • Your analytical and communication skills are excellent.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are available for an internship for at least three months and can start as soon as possible.
  • This is not a remote internship - but a position in our office in Berlin!
